Chat Issues

I've been having chat issues most of the day now. I can hear others in my party just fine, but they can't hear me, it doesn't even register me talking into the mic, and when I unplug the mic, it still registers it as being plugged in. I take very good care
of my mic (its barely 3 months old) so i know it isn't broken. I've tried hard resetting my system, turning it off and back on, choosing my profile to make sure it recognizes its me, and nothing works. I can't even speak to them when I'm in game chat anymore.
I've had nothing but issues since upgrading to this system, and this is beginning to get on my nerves. I shouldn't have to replace a mic that's barely 3 months old so I can enjoy my games with friends. A helpful response would be greatly appreciated. Thank

Thank you for responding Aussie but most of what is in that link is for the 360...and I did try any thing pertaining to the ONE, and so far a fail.

 

Been hours and still no reply? I think its appalling that something thats still quite new quits working for no reason. If I new I wouldn't get yanked around I'd demand a replacement.

 

Are you so short on employees that its difficult to acknowledge a legit question amidst your other blunders the last few days? Poor Support.

Still no reply, someone needs to lose a job. How difficult is it to answer a question about a faulty mic, when answering questions is your job? It's been two days, and none of you have taken the time to look my question over. At this rate I'd have been better
off to sit in the queue for talking with a live support person, you jokes in these forums are slower than dirt when it comes to speedy responses. No answers here, or on twitter.

I'm having same issue, I can hear people but they can't hear me. Tried just about every trick in the book too.

 

None of them feel like answering our questions. Usually the only answers i see them giving folks on here is hard reset, hard reset, hard reset. Do they know 90% of the time that crap doesn't work. We have legit issues that imo they OWE us either a fix, or
a replacement mic. Something that breaks either a few days or a handful of months after purchase is pathetic, and maybe something that needs to be brought to the attention of someone who handles quality in the workplace.

 

I am having a similar issue with my mike on both of my controllers. I understand staff is likely out for the holidays, but I hope Microsoft takes the time to answer these questions soon.

it, how do we report about you're horrible customer service? Might as well hit all my bases while were on the subject.
