Chat headset not working

Can someone help me with my chatheadset?

I cant hear anything through it

My NAT setting is open and mostly i am playing fort nite

Chat headset not working

It sounds like the headset is not working. Depending on the store you got it from they may just exchange the headset and not have to return the whole console. When I got mine, the headset did not fit in the controller. It took the controller and headset
back to the store. They figured out that it was the headset that had the problem. They opened a headset box from the shelf and exchanged it on the spot.

Chat headset not working

I just got an Xbox one assassins creed bundle 4 days ago.

most of the time, my chat headset doesn't work. It's plugged in all the way, sometimes I can even press the mute button. But I can't hear anyone in the party, and the green circle to my name isn't going off.

sometimes if I move it around or push down on it it will start working.

ive tried all troubleshooting tips. I've cleaned it, tried it on other controllers, checked my settings on Xbox, and all of the tips listed on the support page. I think I just have a broken headset.

There is the possibility that your account privacy settings have online chat restricted. If you have a child account connected to a parent account, then they will need to change that for you.

It works fine with a headset its only when your in game chat rather than a party chat whoever is using the Kinnect cannot be heard by the others on cross platform but mic and headset no work problems. My friend has the Kinnect but no headset there in lies
the problems.

okay also I have updated all 3 controllers to work with stereo headset adapter......now I get no chat sound out of the chat headset even if all other controllers are off. does the chat headset no longer function with the new update?????????

Tried 2 different headsets one is an MS authorized chat headset. The first headset was working till about 3 weeks ago, it works fine on other devices. Definitely not a headset issue
