  1. Chat headset hearing problem

Connected Sennheiser X2 headset (compatible with Xbox 360) to Xbox 360 controller. Mic works ok, but I don't hear anything. I hear friends voices through TV-speakers. What might be the reason? Do I need to change console settings? Can't find anything.

Do you prefer to use a headset wnen MP?

Headsets are very useful for communication, some even say communication is key. I usually play with a couple of friends in party chat, so hearing other noisy people is no problem for me. Also, you can always mute them.

  3. Headphones not working after battery change

    Hi Nicholas,

If the headset is not working here are a few things to try:

    Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting

Also, what type of headset is it? Do any other controllers work with the headset? Are other people able to hear or is it a problem with both hearing and speaking using the headset?

Press the Guide button on the controller and scroll right. Choose Preferences then Voice. Then select your option for Voice Output.
