Chat Error Windows 10

live chat on xbox.com, on the console, or on the Windows 10 app? It is still on the Windows 10 app, but generally you can't send live chats unless you are on the phone and Windows 10 apps or in the Clubs on the console.

i did some changes but ended up changing them back to what I had. This is a brand new PC.

Based from the error code that you have provided, it appears that the network settings on your router and your computer needs to be configured properly.

To further isolate your concern, check your NAT type on the Network tab of the Settings screen in the Xbox app and find out how to troubleshoot it below.

1. Click the Start icon and open the Xbox app.
   
2. Select Settings > Network.
   
3. Under Network status, check the NAT type.
   

Another reason can be that your network hardware or firewall might be blocking communication with the Xbox Live servers.
