Chat error 0x807A1017

Trying to join a chat party and it responded that the party chat was disconnected. Side panel had error indicating that network settings were blocking the connection. We have been playing\chatting all day with no problems, no settings were changed. Currently
trying to play Infinite Warfare: Zombies. Any help would be appreciated.

[At Last!] XBOX One Headset Adaptor Details

I had to boost the chat on the adaptor to get things to work. But that was trial and error rather than knowing. Will the settings be remembered over switch off or removal of the adaptor i.e. it is console stored or does it need to be done each time?

Yes have contacted the chat many times to escalate this problem. As soon as this error code is mentioned chat gets shut down.

This does not solve the issue. I have the same problem & tried everything. The latest method is to delete skype & reinstall it. After that try to make a party chat. I tried this & it still doesn't work.

The error code lookup only works for Xbox 360 error codes and I can't find anything on google. It maybe worth you checking with Xbox Support on Live Chat or maybe calling them.

The chances are the issue will sort itself if you just hold down the power button for 10 seconds, leave the console for a minute and turn it back on.

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out! Since your NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider.

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

After opening the ports previously mentioned, I would like you please to go over the following steps to refresh the e system:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

I know issues such as this can be very frustrating. What error message or error codes are you seeing when you try to send a message? Could it be that some of your settings have been changed to no longer allow sending messages? Have you tried removing
and recovering your Microsoft account from the Xbox consoles? if so I would recommend you
Contact Xbox Customer Support
and review any options you may have available with a representative.
