  1. Chat echoes when using controller, but not when using Kinect

Other people in my party (or in Skype) complain that they can hear their own voices echoing through my mic. I have tried two different headsets (the Xbox One chat headset, and Astro A50s), different wires, and different controllers. I have no audio coming
through TV speakers - only through the headset. Game audio does not echo through the headset, so it is not leaking from the earpiece to the mic. I have also tried updating the firmware and doing a hard reboot of the Xbox One (unplugging it from the wall for
    five minutes).

If I disconnect the Astro A50s from the controller and use Kinect chat instead, there is no echo. But this is not an acceptable workaround - I don't want the Kinect picking up ambient noise from my house and broadcasting it to my party. What am I missing?

    :)

  2. How come people don't like the Kinect as a chat feature? (not video chat)

Most people say they don't like the Kinect without giving me an actually reason, they just say "It sucks."

Why do people hate the Kinect to chat? Is it because it makes you sound different? Echos? Background noise? Me or my friends don't echo when they or I talk, I am smart enough to NOT turn on my Kinect when someone is screaming in my house for a retarded reason,
but I will admit, I sound very different when I speak using my Kinect. I sound like I drank a lot of lemonade and my throat is puckered/dry or something close that.

  3. new update

so will the option of being able to tune audio volume when using Kinect for chat will that still work for if your not using Kinect and using the headset in party chat? cause right now I'll go to party chat but cannot tune what volume the xbox feels like
turning the volume down to and to me the xbox turns the volume down way too much for me.
