  1. chat Echo Issue

    Hi guys

I have an issue with my headset/ xbox one adaptor. while I'm in party chat my friends Complain they can hear their voices echo.

this only happens when I'm in the party. when I'm using my astro as50 head set + adaptor.

I've tried updating firmware, still happens

    changing controllers, still happens.

changing head set with xb1 head set. doesn't happen.

i have also adjusted the adaptor so that the chat comes through the adaptor and the in game sound comes through the head set. like the astro set up recommended.

i believe its the adaptor or one of the leads connecting to my head set. maybe i was a little to rough connection them and damaged somthing.

I'm thinning it might need replacing.

what do you guys think? if I'm missing something and don't need to replace the adapter. let me know i don't want to find that a new adapter doesn't work either.

    :)

Tritton headphone party chat echo issue

I have a pair of kunai Tritton headphones I purchased to use for xbox one. They work fine in online game chat, but when I link up to a party chat I am getting my own voice echoing back to me. The others in the party are not echoing or hearing me echo,
but I can hear it. I have made sure they are plugging in all the way and have adjusted chat mixer with no fix. These headphones are just plug and play type. The plug fits into the controller without any need for an adapter. Any advise on a fix other than
having to get another pair of headphones?.

    XB1 Stereo Headset Adapter Echo

    Hello

Recently purchased an xb1 stereo headset adapter, and I am having issues with my friends hearing an echo when they are speaking over chat. I have tried to adjust the volume settings, and turned down my TV volume to make sure they were not hearing the echo
on my end with no change in the echo. I can hear everyone just fine, but when using the adapter everyone hears their own echo.

I have updated my controller, firmware 2.3.2385.0 and the adapter is up to date 4.8.0.0.

Also have tried the hard reboot as well with no change in the issue.

I am using a Sentey Thor X headset and have no echo issues when plugging directly into the controller. I'd like to get the adapter to work and not have an echo for my party because the ease of having volume and mute on the adapter is why i purchased the
    product.

Are there chat/volume output settings I need to adjust to get the right balance and remove the echo?

    Thanks!
