    sooooooo I was being harrased yesterday by three guys using a third party system when I joined the party they were telling me they knew my IP address and my real address I didn’t believe Them until I checked my ip and they stated where I had lived I reported
    this to you guys and y’all chat banned me like are you dumb how do I deserve to be chat banned when I was the one being harrased

    Seems to me that the best way to ban someone is simply take away their ability to communicate. No chat. No messages. No nothing. Should still be able to play online if you are paying for the service though. Now if they are cheating then, yeah. Ban them from the service completely.

    Are Microsofts ridiculous banning practices starting to harm the Xbox?

    don't be an idiot and you won't get banned simple as that or stick to party chat with your friends who don't care what you say to them

    If you sent them any messages trash talking the or threatening them, and they reported you that is the reason you got banned.

    If you were banned for one day or 24 hours there is nothing you can do. However if the suspension was longer then a day you can file to have your case reviewed by the enforcement team. That way they can hear your side of the story. If you are interested
    in doing this Here is how to do it.

    You will need to go to https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US sign in and click the orange hammer in the top left of the site.This will take you to your enforcement history page. Find the current enforcement effecting
    your account. Next to it on the right you should see a link that say submit a case review. Click on that and follow the prompts.

    In case the instructions are a bit confusion, here is a link to a video showing you how to file a case review as well.

    How can you ban someone that has not even commented on this site? Are you illegally spying on me?

    if you have been banned it will be most likely on the console, any messages chats or in game chats that are reported will result in a ban if you break the terms and conditions.
