Chat Ban

have to say, with all the trash talking that happens on xbl, why does Microsoft not sort something out?

I’ve been an xbl member since it started, paid up and for the first time last night i get a chat ban.

24 hrs as it’s a first offence.

I do not use a mic, as I cannot stand all the whinging and moaning, but I did reply to a wind up from a player

I usually respond ina sarcastic way to these, but I did just txt back **** u!

My bad, so hI must hav straight away reported me.

My own foolish error as I let this idiot ge to me.

But, my issue is, if people are playing an 18 rat d game, why can Xbl not have an “adult” chat section? So you can cuss and swear till your hearts content! If there was racism etc, it would still be reported, but harmless swearing is a stupid way to get
banned when you are playing an adult game!

XBox Live Suspension

Seems to me that the best way to ban someone is simply take away their ability to communicate. No chat. No messages. No nothing. Should still be able to play online if you are paying for the service though. Now if they are cheating then, yeah. Ban them from the service completely.
