    Charter Communications (ISPs): Xbox One cannot connect to the internet...yet everything else can. Any ideas?
    Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes tyen forget your network and try reconnecting

    Can't connect to xbox live 1st time ever!

    Done everything everyone has said to do here, and yet I cannot connect to Xbox Live. Husband's xbox can in the other room though. Everything else connects to the internet.. *sigh*

    for some reason I cannot connect to the internet at all on my xbox, but I can for everything else... obviously, the xbox doesn't even show that my router is available, I don't understand. any help?

    Hello!

    I would try the following troubleshooting steps to see if any of them help.

    • Hard reset Xbox
    • Reboot all networking equipment
    • Change the Wifi Password & try the new one
    • Try changing the wifi encryption type on the router (if it's WPA & WPA2, try setting it to just one)

    Gonna either Play Minecraft or watch a movie on my computer I told my fellow Xbox Ambassadors this to hopefully fix the issue faster.

    TO ALL AMBASSADORS the current increase of Cant connect to Xbox Live but can connect to internet questions is due to the ISP Charter communications having issuses this have been figured out on the forums. If you recieve a question like this please ask the
    customer if they have Charter internet and if so please tell them to report it to Xbox Support and there ISP so this can be resolved ASAP

    Charter here as well, east coast (Virginia). Same issue as others (can connect to the internet, but not Xbox Live; seem to have issues connecting to xbox.com as well). Could this possibly be a DNS issue on Charter's end?
