Charging for Name Tag Change

Hi

I am Just checking my account for my daughter and she wanted to change her Gmae Tag, Typical Kid changes every five mins, anyway went intoo change it for her only for MS to come back with a charge of £7.99 !!! what a bloody disgrace, does MS not make enough
off them from Xbox live gold etc and now they are charging for a simple name change, seriously ! No wonder I see so many getting shot of their Xbox's, thinh it time to look at other console's.

I agree with you, most other system (mainly PC) dont charge or have a time delayed change, microsoft insist it is to stop abuse of the system and to cover admin charges.

they give the first name change free then each change after that costs.

PSN charges also and so does battlenet on pc

sony also charge for tag changes, this is another reason i play on pc, name changes dont cost anything and can change on steam as much as i like.

No no one changed it for me. I was on my Xbox checking for availability of gamer tags and as I clicked yes the gamertag changed without charge and i was not intending of changing just checking for names since i was bored. I called Xbox support and they
can see on their screen as well that my gamertag has changed but i was not charged for this.
