Kindly check other Microsoft accounts that you have to check the order history and validate because if there is no order history on your end there may be someone that is using your card and you may need to reach out to your bank to cancel them.

In my experience, your bank is being “helpful” and moving a recurring payments from recognized sources over to the new card.

If you don’t mean that you have obtained a new credit card from the bank, then likely the fuel card remains on your account, and the subscription is tied to it, I assume that’s what you keep getting charged for

Since they are seeing a charge on their bank/credit card that they don't recognize, you can login to his Microsoft Account and view the
Order History. The date they were charged on their card will show the subscription if it was done through your sons account. You can also check yours
the same way.

Note: There isn't a way to prove where the transaction occurred to my knowledge.

Do the charges appear on your Microsoft account? If so, please contact Microsoft support (https://support.xbox.com/) to report the transactions and pursue refunds. You should also change your password and take all the standard account protection measures.

If the charges don't appear on your Microsoft account, you're best to pursue the matter with your bank/card issuer and report them as fraudulent transactions. Microsoft has no way to directly confirm your identity as the card holder to verify the legitimacy of the transactions against another account.
