Charges from Microsoft on Bank Card

Do the charges appear on your Microsoft account? If so, please contact Microsoft support (https://support.xbox.com/) to report the transactions and pursue refunds. You should also change your password and take all the standard account protection measures.

If the charges don't appear on your Microsoft account, you're best to pursue the matter with your bank/card issuer and report them as fraudulent transactions. Microsoft has no way to directly confirm your identity as the card holder to verify the legitimacy of the transactions against another account.

You can try reaching out to support via support.xbox.com for assistance. However, be advised that Microsoft's policy on issues like this is to reach out to your bank for the refund as it seems to be an issue of a compromised debit card.

I thought that a charge from a credit card is the same as a bank account? There's no way it would charge your bank account directly without a credit card on file.

1. Contact your bank and ask them to give you a new card and block/cancel the current one.
2. Ask your bank to block all incoming charges from Microsoft.

Call your bank and put a stop on it.That will prevent Microsoft from charging you but in the future if you want gold again on that same card you would have to speak to your bank.
