Charges for downloads that you never had

same account, same box, i know it will ask if you want to download again if you already have the content, but ive never had it charge me for it twice?

First off, there is no court case to be had. When you redownloaded the content you will have gotten a prompt explaining you were being charged, and you willingly accepted it and said download it anyways. Anything you downloaded should be in your purchase
history (where it will not charge you to redownload it if you bought it), and if it isn't, then you never bought it on that GamerTag. It sounds to me like you switched consoles at some point and never transferred content licenses, or downloaded the game on
another GamerTag originally, in which case, you should have redownloaded the game from that GamerTag.

No the Xbox 360 console never came with a controller charging cable. You had to purchase one as part of the play and charge kit.

Instead of downloading it from the store, try downloading it from your download history on your Xbox 360. If that doesn't work try it on the Xbox website. I've never had anything be corrupt but I have had Microsoft try to charge me money for dlc again. For
me, downloading this way always worked.

You could also try redownloading your profile. And if you have another hard drive try installing everything for those games on that.

If the content does not show in your download/purchase history then contact support using
support.xbox.com/contact-us and they can look into your account and the charges biled to you to fix this.
