Charged twice for purchase on Xbox Live Marketplace

I attempted to purchase 1000 platinum for Warframe on the Xbox One, but I received an error message saying to try again later and when I did the transaction was successful. However, I received two receipts from my PayPal account saying I made two purchases
when I didn't. So I'm missing $60.36 from my PayPal account.

purchasing adittional game content

If you own the Season Pass, all content should be accessed in-game AND NOT DOWNLOADED from Xbox LIVE Marketplace, or you will be charged twice.

Does this mean that if I don't have a Season pass I will be charged twice for the content I am wanting to purchess?

so I was recently going through my purchase history, and realised Xbox charged me twice for my Xbox live gold subscription

Is it possible to reverse this transition?

I would double-check with your bank next time it looks like that's happening. I'm pretty sure Xbox's systems are designed so that you can't technically pay for the same thing twice, except memberships, but even when that happens, you still get all the time
from each purchase. But if by chance you do put a credit card on and purchase something from the marketplace, and your statement appears to list the charge twice, ask the bank if it really came out twice or if that's a bug in their billing itemization. If
they confirm it was taken twice, then contact Xbox Customer Support and request a refund for the duplicate charge. But honestly, when it comes to this licensing thing, that should never happen with marketplace content.

yes all you have to do is go to settings from the dashboard, then go to account management and click on download history, and select items again you wont be charged twice.
