Charged for Xbox Live gold but not given xbox live gold

. On October 24th i checked my transactions on my card and it said i was charged 9.99 for Gold on the date of October 23rd. I checked my Xbox Live account to find that i did not have Gold but instead i have Silver. I was wondering why didn't have Xbox Live
Gold? Thank you for any help you can provide.

1 month xbox live gold

I bought a month of xbox live gold from xbox and it charged me but didn't give me a code. Now I have xbox live GOLD but can't connect to live.

Do i need xbox live

You will not need gold to buy games (but you will need an xbox live id/gamertag) thats a given, same for iplayer (assuming it comes to xbox one)

As for renting movies not sure ive always had gold when ive done it

The account hasn't been renewed yet (it hasn't charged the credit card for another year yet). The membership will stay what it is (an Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack) until the point that it is charged for another year. I wanted to make it so that when I was
charged for another year (on the new card), I would be charged for a standard Xbox LIVE Gold membership. Basically, I was trying to purchase the new membership NOW, so that when it went to charge the new card for another year, it would charge for a standard
Xbox LIVE Gold membership. However, the only option being given to me to select is an Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack. Maybe it is a bug. If the next option I'm given here doesn't work, I'll contact phone support.

Are you still subscribed to either Xbox Live Gold or Ultimate? The games that are given under the Games with Gold program require an active subscription to Live Gold or Ultimate to play.

When my Xbox LIVE asked me to renew the first time, I only had a standard Xbox LIVE Gold membership. When I went to the screen on my Xbox to renew it, the only option that was given to me was the $99.99 Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack. NO OPTION WAS GIVEN TO
SELECT A STANDARD, $59.99 XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP. At that time, I couldn't find any solution on my own, and none of the solutions given to me on the forum I posted my problem on (which was the Bungie.net "The Flood" Forum) got me anywhere, so I ended up
purchasing the Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack. Earlier this weak I was attempting to by some MSpoints with a credit card. It told me that said card had been canceled, which was true. I entered in a new credit card number and, on a whim, decided to transfer the
Xbox LIVE membership to the new card. My Xbox, once again, took me to the Membership Select screen, and still the only option given was Xbox LIVE Gold Family. I would very much like to pay for just MY Xbox LIVE account, not mine and three completely unused
ones.
