Charged for Xbox Live before year was up

may 2017 I purchased one year Xbox Live however February 2018 I've been charged for 3 months Xbox Live I had previously turned off my auto renewal but was still charged on my credit card. We always use redeem codes to buy in house
game purchases but since the renewal has gone through my card has been reactivated on the account and my children have purchased without my knowledge. Trying to contact Microsoft to sort it out has become a nightmare can anyone help

Special 33% when you renew for a year?

I saw a promotion for 33% off renewal of xbox live for one year, if paid before expiring.(stating one year for $39.99) I took the offer, but was still charged full price... I took a picture of the promotion, and a screen shot of what was charged. It won't
let me add either to this thread.

Xbox charges me for expired card

Today I have been charged £25 by the bank the bank because xbox live has charged for gold membership of two old accounts me and my brother used to have but have been inactive for a year or so, before hand xbox sent emails telling me that i didn't have
live for those accounts because the card is expired, but still the bank has charged me, why?

You can turn off auto-renewal at Sign in to your Microsoft account You can't remove a care while it's attached to an active gold subscription so you would either need to cancel the subscription (which you should be
able to do on the billing site as well) or wait for the subscription to end before removing it and then start using prepaid cards again without reactivating another payment method.

If it doesn't work through the site, you'll have to contact support and speak to billing. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

Hello, EA it's charged separately. The ultimate Gamepass includes Xbox live. It happened to me before. I paid my EA for a whole year its iore affordable that way. Hope this helped. Happy gaming!

The account hasn't been renewed yet (it hasn't charged the credit card for another year yet). The membership will stay what it is (an Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack) until the point that it is charged for another year. I wanted to make it so that when I was
charged for another year (on the new card), I would be charged for a standard Xbox LIVE Gold membership. Basically, I was trying to purchase the new membership NOW, so that when it went to charge the new card for another year, it would charge for a standard
Xbox LIVE Gold membership. However, the only option being given to me to select is an Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack. Maybe it is a bug. If the next option I'm given here doesn't work, I'll contact phone support.

My disappointment of the year was with EA - Why are they charging for online play, surely Xbox live charge and the cost of the game were enough.
