Charged for Xbox gold and Xbox live

Can someone help please. On 18th October I was charged £5.99 for Xbox gold and then on 21st October i was charged £5.99 for Xbox live gold.

What is the difference and why have i been charged. Can't get an answer on the website

Improper billing

Day 23/12/17, I canceled my xbox live gold, today I received the news that xbox live gold has been renewed anyway and I am being charged for it.

You should contact
Xbox Live Support, which can see your account and explain what happened. When you go to the linked site, you may be prompted to talk to a virtual agent. You can decline that and get presented with other options, such as requesting a free call-back or speaking
live in an online chat with an Xbox/Microsoft employee.

this same thing happend to me and i still don't know how to fix it, what can get you a lead is going to your subscriptions and seeing if there is more than one subscription active https://account.microsoft.com/services/

You might want to check in the Services & Subscriptions an in your Microsoft account and see if you have two Xbox live subscriptions active. If so, then cancel one.

The account hasn't been renewed yet (it hasn't charged the credit card for another year yet). The membership will stay what it is (an Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack) until the point that it is charged for another year. I wanted to make it so that when I was
charged for another year (on the new card), I would be charged for a standard Xbox LIVE Gold membership. Basically, I was trying to purchase the new membership NOW, so that when it went to charge the new card for another year, it would charge for a standard
Xbox LIVE Gold membership. However, the only option being given to me to select is an Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack. Maybe it is a bug. If the next option I'm given here doesn't work, I'll contact phone support.

I did buy xbox game pass after buying xbox gold and i did this before the expiry of earlier subscription. But i haven't been charged for xbox live gold but do charged for game pass ultimate.

Is there any additional charge? So my xbox live is upgraded for the remainder of my xbox gold time, but do i have any additional charge for the upgrade?
