Charged for 'Xbox Game Pass for Console' when I've never owned a console, is this right?

I was able to refund my March payment here but don't have the option for older payments. I spoke to someone on live chat who said he didnt have the power to do it.

Pretty frustrating as I have apparently been charged nearly £40 for a service I couldn't possibly use!

They are indeed separate and you would not need both if you don't have a console. The only time they are charged together is if you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, but even in that case, it would still only show as 1 subscription.

OK thanks, any idea why this would have happened? The only thing I signed up for was the £1 introductory game pass offer, I think. Should I be able to claim a refund for the console portion, and if so, how do I go about it?
