Charged for games but can't download them

If you would like to request a refund to either repurchase the game or get your money back for not receiving the product, please contact the game's retailer or contact Xbox here.

Even if EA did take over you would not be charged as you would be buying them new, as you can't get downloadable games preowned fortunately.

If it does then try this;

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.

- Under Full library > All owned games, you'll see all games you own listed.

- If a game you own has not yet been installed on your console, you'll see a download icon on the game title.

You can download them again at no extra charge.

On the Xbox 360, go to Settings/My Account/Download History and all your purchases will appear there. You can download them from here without charge.

If you're on an Xbox One, press the Menu button on a game and then 'Show all Add-Ons' and it will take you to the Store where you can download them again without charge.

You can only download games when you have enough space to download them, you can't partially download games if you don't have enough space. Not to worry though, as when you buy a game or additional content on Xbox Live - whether it be directly from the
store or with a redeemable code - the content is connected to your account. So, you can download it again any time you like free of charge. This applies to Xbox One and Xbox 360.
