charged again for xbox 360 gold, though it says it was not expired until 6 2014

I hit "join xbox live", thinking i was going to join this site after signing in.

It brought me to a page to do xbox live gold for 59.99.

I did that, then noticed I had done it back in may 2013, so it was not expiring until june of 2014.

My assumption was that my account was no longer gold, or it would not let me do that (so it must have expired.)

So Now I've been charged 59.99 AGAIN, while I apparently already had the annual gold (59.99 was charged

back in may, 2013.)

So how do I get a refund?

Incorrect Expiration Time For Microsoft Account Local Currency

I had a $10 USD in my Microsoft Account for Xbox that was set to expire on 6/28/2014. Which to anyone in the world means 6/28/2014 11:59pm. Though this was not the case, it looks as though it expired on 6/28/2014 12:01am. This is not correct. Can anyone
help?

 

netflix app will not log me in

I have a xbox live gold member that does not expire till 6/2014 and when I try to log in to net flix it says I have to up grade to xbox live gold

...

So it did indeed take the payment, which would have gone through

6/28/2014.

Its rather misleading that it shows "xbox live gold", then "join xbox live gold" at the top,

then you see a thing to make a payment which makes you assume that you don't

have it now (or perhaps this is because I'm old.)

I originally thought this because "Dark souls" said it was 4.99. Then it said that was for gold, or something, and when I clicked to pay it said 19.99; Evidently, this was not the case. I guess it was only 4.99 for a cyber monday thing, or something, and
I was thinking I was no longer gold since that price was not there when I went to pay. Then, coming here and getting an option to pay 59.99 for gold kind of cemented that for me.

Now, on the xbox 360, in the area where you purchase games it suddenly changed to 19.99 from the get go. Odd....

 

Dark Souls was on sale for the Deal of the Week through yesterday. Today brings about a new set of Deal of the Week discounts, so Dark Souls went back to regular price. As for the stacked subscription, go ahead and contact Xbox Customer Support on the
phone, and they should be able to straighten this out. If you live in the US or Canada, call them at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX (1-800-469-9269) between 9am - 1am EST. Sorry the website did that. Kind of a generic "Join Xbox Live" box there. Wish it would clarify
your membership status right on that page. But you can always see the terms of your current membership on the My Account page.

 

Yeah, then I kind of figured "oh well, now I don't have to worry about paying again in June...." since I have that on the credit card anyway.

As for the dark souls, that was odd that it still said 4.99 through today. I even shut my xbox on, then off, to see if it was not letting me get 4.99 since it did not know I was gold or something. It still said 4.99 at the time of the first post i made,
though it said 19.99 once you went to pay, then was changed to 19.99 all of a sudden.

 

Yeah, I've been there, trying to take advantage of a sale since one part of the system still listed it, and even on the Confirm Purchase page it showed the discounted price, but when I tried to purchase, it gave me an error, and said the offer might have
changed. So, sometimes, when something is transitioning into or out of a sale price, it's a trickle effect that works its way through different parts of the system. So if it says that 2/15 is the last day of a sale, I recommend taking it on its word, and
giving yourself a little insurance by drawing about 3:00pm on 2/15 as your deadline, just to be sure.
