If the charges do appear on your xbox account or someone in your family you might want to see if they made any purchases in game or from the store.

if you didn't make these purchases then either someone has your payment details or your account sign in information.

check your order history to see if the purchases were made on your account by going to the following link https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

if the purchases are there you will want to go through the Compromised Account Solution at the following link https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/security/compromised-account-solution

if they don't show there then then someone has your card info.

in either case you will want to contact your credit/debit card provider to report the unauthorised purchases and start the refund process with them.

If you buy from someone selling there's on Ebay or Craigslist I guess you could see them selling for more than $500 but I doubt retailers will charge more than $500.

The charge is how many times you can use the enchanted weapon. So say you did your sword with fire damage with charge 800 with 1HP damage. You can use it 852 times, dealing 1HP damage each time (you can use the sword after
charge is depleted but with no fire damage) if you lower the charge, say 500 charge, the damage input would go up (Example) 20HP damage. So you can then you use sword 500 times inflicted 20HP damage each time.
