    Charged 3 times for the same game


    I bought GTA San Andreas the other day. First time the order was cancelled for whatever reason and I see that refund in my account, I then tried to re purchase the game with success only to be charged 3 seperate times, so twice more than I should have??
    These extra transactions are cleared, they are not pending..

    I opened a refund ticket with MS but only got a generic reply denying the request and stating some policy where you can get only a cirtain number of refunds a year, of which I have had none.

    Can anybody shed some light on this, I am just going to need to cop it. I am a bit hesitant to buy anything through the MS store if I need to pay triple.

    We need to validate first what is the issue. Just a friendly reminder though that all successful transactions are added to our order history in real-time. Can you please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and check if you can see the game transaction 3 times? If yes, you can request a refund by signing in to https://xbox.com/refunds.

    If none, you may need to reach out to your bank to dispute the other charges that you received.

    If you got charged two times and the order did not went through - it was only processed on the third time - you should be automatically refunded within the next 72 hours.

    Please note that if you used a credit card to make the purchases, you might only see the refund on your next credit card statement/invoice. You can call your bank in the next days to confirm if the money was refunded to you.

    https://billing.microsoft.com. If you feel there is a discrepancy though, please contact phone support (support.xbox.com/contact-us)
    for more assistance.
