    tuning woes and confusion

    If you saved the tuning setup, you can find it in the 'upgrades' section of your career, under 'my tuning setups'.

    You can also load up tuning setups when you are in the online lobbies.

    Assuming it's a forza game, and it's just in game credits you can earn quickly I imagine there's not a whole lot to be done.

    The options for tuning in FM5 are very similiar to FM4. You can upgrade the parts of your car (transmission, engine, conversions, handling, tires, etc...) and if you use specific upgrades (i.e. race diff, race transmission, race anti-roll bars, etc...) you
    can tune those upgrades in the tuning menu.

    When you deleted the tune and reset to the default upgrades - you removed all the parts that are tuneable (race brakes, race springs, race transmission, etc...). You will need to upgrade the parts of the car that you want to tune before you can tune them.
