Charged £1 when i brought a free product

I purchased a free 1 month of xbox live gold on christmas eve and later received an email That showed that they had wrongly charged me £1,I know its not alot of money but if they did this to another 1,000 people they would essentially be stealing £1000.

I bought the Haze skin pack while it was free, and then it was changed to 240 msp shortly after and I got charged for it. It said free when i purchased it on my xbox. Can a moderator or admin help me with this issue, because customer support refuses.

There's an offer at the moment where you can get 1 month of gold for £1 so I suspect you got that instead of the free month you can get on a new account.

Try winning a "free" car sometime. You will be paying taxes on it. There are MANY things that you can be charged taxes on, even if it is $0 or "free". It all depends on the terms of said "free" item.

If you live in a state that charges taxes on groceries, and you have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon on lets say a gallon of milk, you WILL be paying the sales taxes on the "free" one.

Billing support is not something we can do here, but I've always had very good luck with the support people in billing when I go to my
Microsoft Account page, click Payments & Billing > Order History and find the purchase in question. From there click "Get order help" under that, and it will have information for the
best people to contact depending on your situation. You can also review and verify if you were charged twice for the item and have the order information right there and available when you contact them.
