Charge cord NEEDS TO GO!

The charge cord is terrible I am on my second one now and it is now no good. The teeth on them wear to fast which cause you to get a disconnected controller and eventually just not connecting what so ever I have to bend the metal in the middle of the prongs
for it to stay connected. I understand that this probably means replacing the whole controller but do what you have to do just fix this along with the rest of the problems on the console.

Charger cord

So I got my Xbox One in Korea. Now I'm back in the US and I need a different outlet type for my charger. Can I just get an adapter for the outlet or should I get a new cord entirely? If I should get a new cord can someone tell me where to get one? I was
looking online but all I could find were the entire power box/charger thing or the cord that I want but it had an extra hole, like a ground.

I hope that makes enough sense for someone to help me out.

I too do not like the design of the plug but I do like the concept of having a long wired option when the battery dies. Perhaps your idea is spot on but I also wonder HOW in the WORLD they will create a better connector as the sensors were places right
beside the plug.

Lets hope for the best as my controller slowly slide off mu couch and landed on the plug side while charging. I assume it caused a short in it as it no longer works via the cable just via batteries.

I've had problems with all of my 360 controllers. My play n charge cables always ended up dying on me, usually near the head of the charge cable and it would never charge my battery. My last one did the same, but I can still charge my battery. Doesn't matter
because the controller is messed up too, the left analog stick always breaks on me. I feel your pain.

im actually on my 3rd cord i forgot about one of them. I have never had a problem with the 360 controllers. I bought a charge kit and it never not even once held a charge in the rechargeable battery.

can it be any cord like an android phone charging cord or does it need to be the charging cable that came with it?

The standard controller inside the box does NOT come with a usb cord, nor the 2nd standalone controller. You can verify this with the "unboxing" video. I don't know why "tohellenback" thinks otherwise.

If you want to be able to charge your XB1 battery pack while using it you need a PnC kit. A standard usb cord WILL charge the XB1 batt pack but, you'd still need to buy a PnC kit to get that rechargeable XB1 batt pack. Usb cord WILL NOT charge any other
type of rechargeable batteries but, will offer a corded controller option.

You have 2 options:

1. Pnc kit-$24.99 [comes with MS XB1 batt pack and a usb cord)

2. Pnc controller kit-$74.99 [comes with above-mentioned plus 1 controller]

Otherwise you go the way of regular AA batteries or rechargeable AA batteries with their own standalone charger.
