    Charge and Play on Elite Controller


    I dropped my Elite controller and now I cant use the charge and play kit any more. It still works with battery's but need the charge and play so I can use the headphones due to where my Xbox sits in relation to the monitor I use.

    When I dropped it the connection at the end of the charging cable got bent, I straitened it but it didn't work, so I replaced the cable and it still does not work. I think the housing that the cable connects to on the controller is damaged.

    Is this something that I can get the parts for and fix myself or do I need to send it back to Microsoft for servicing

    Elite controller not charging.

    I have the same problem here.

    My old Play and Charge charges fine in my old controller but won't charge in my Elite.

    Xbox One Elite contoller - play & charge kit drains too fast

    Hello.

    My problem is following: I bought new Xbox One Elite controller. I put my play & charge kit (battery) to it.

    The battery should last 30 hrs. With my elite controller, I only get 8hrs of gametime before it dies.

    I previusly had another elite controller with the same play and charge kit battery, had no issues at the time.

    I also tested my play and charge kit with my Xbox One S- contoller, battery life is good.

    So, problem is not the play and charge battery kit, but my current elite controller. I also noticed that it shut it self down in middle of gaming... Could I have a faulty controller? How to fix it?

    If the USB port on the controller is damaged, you will need to see about a service repair from Microsoft.

    As far as the controller charging.. I don't believe any controller does this except the Elite 2 control. I could be wrong on this.
    If you wanted to charge the controller, you would need to use the Play & Charge kit that consists of a rechargeable battery and a usb charging cable.

    I too am having issues with my elite controller and the plug and play kuts. I have used both the original and braided usb cables to try and charge with no luck.

    I have resorted to charging my batteries with my original controller and swapping them to the elite controller. Or if I am with distance to my xbox having it permantly plugged in
