    Charge and play cable not working...(DETAILS INCLUDED)


    I know this is a common problem so I'll be specific. -Does not charge battery or supply power to battery-less controller. -Cable light flickers green sometimes. -USB Port works (charged my iPod with it) -Cleaned all contacts with alcohol. -No physical
    wear and tear on cord. -This has happened before. Any help is appreciated thnx!

    Play and charge cable not working

    Hey THRASHER 1997, this sounds like an issue just with the micro USB cable that comes with the play and charge kit. Are you able to try with another micro USB cable to see if it solves your issue?

    Hey there Mario! Thanks for all the details you posted! It definitely helps paint a clearer picture for us.

    At first glance, it sounds like your play and charge cable may be on its way out and may need to be replaced. Do you have access to another play and charge cable (perhaps a friend or family member's) that you could try with your console/controller to see if
    that yields better results?

    If so and it does work for you, then I would suggest replacing your play and charge cable.

    Happens to many people even if the cord "looks" fine more then likely there is split in the cord itself on the inside case of the wiring. which is why it flickers because of a bad connection within the inside

    What are these 'cables' you purchased? Any Micro USB cable that can be used as a 'sync and charge' should work with the Xbox One controller on a PC.
