Characters keep on disappearing

Can someone please tell me how to find my characters? I had a lot and now when I log back in they have / are disappearing. Please help.

I think Belethor was/is expendable from the beginning, even before DG. One of my first (it may have even been my first) characters killed him upon becoming a werewolf the first time. At least I'm pretty sure that's what happened. All I know is that after I
received the beast blood from Aela, I was running rampant through Whiterun and since everyone was attacking me, I fought back. lol I have no idea how many people I massacred before I finally found a way to exit Whiterun. After that night, Belethor's shop has
been closed. That was back when the game was just out, so I really had no idea of just how the consequences of my actions could affect things. I wasn't in my right mind I tell ya! And if I ever get put on trial for it, I'm claiming temporary werewolf insanity!

 

Disappearing Characters

I still have both of them. They didn't get killed did they? This DLC has stated that some areas can experience higher levels of Dragon attacks.

I fast traveled to every Dragon perch prior to see if that would reset those and so far I haven't seen any elevated levels. Do you have DG loaded?

 

Same here, had loads a couple of days ago but now I'm only left with a few...

 

All the character variants were unlocked from Feb.25 to Mar. 5. All characters except Level 10 variants.
