Character list, card packs, etc.?

I'm having a ton of fun with the game so far, but info so far has been scarce. It seems like the character cards you get that have a complete new skin also change your base weapon, but everything else stays the same, is that right? What's the general consensus
on what the best way to spend your coins are, is it worth it to save up for the 40k packs? My friend has the hockey all-star character, and after that he opened a 20k card pack and got a weapon upgrade specifically for that skin. So maybe you get a random
weapon upgrade, but only out of the characters you currently have?

Assassin's Creed Revelations: Wrong Code for Specified DLC

Good evening,

I purchased the Assassin's Creed Anthology relatively recently and am in the process of downloading the DLC using the pre-paid "Game Add-on Download" cards included in the box set.

When I entered the code on the card for the "Ancestor's Character Pack" (part of Assassin's Creed Revelations), Xbox Live incorrectly listed it as a code for the "Meditarrenean Traveller Maps Pack".

A card for the The "Meditarrenean Traveller Maps Pack" was also included in the box set, the code of which Xbox Live correctly named.

After attempting to input the code on the card for the "Ancestor's Character Pack" for a second time, I was informed that the code had already been redeemed.

Please could assistance be provided so that I may download the "Ancestor's Character Pack"?

WEAPON PACKS AND SHOP

I definitely agree that the one thing that seriously needs to be changed about the packs is the character cards. If I have a level 20 character that's already fully unlocked, I should NOT get another card for that character. It should be like the power
reset cards where they put a limit on it. Speaking of which, I NEVER use those reset cards anymore. As soon as I do, that's always the first thing I get in my next pack purchase. So much for being completely random.

 

Not sure yet either but I had fun with the first 3 matches I played. It's very (I mean VERY) similar to ME3's co-op mode (even the packs) which is a good thing. I'll probably be saving up most of the time to get either the 20K or 40K packs.

 

In my first free character pack I got the radiant sunflower. Then I saved up and bought a 20k pack and got an upgraded weapon for him, so I'd agree that you get an upgrade for a specific character you have. In terms of packs, besides the weapon upgrade,
the 20k was a serious let down. So second time around I spent my 20k on two 10k packs and was more satisfied. Considering I've only bought 3 packs total, it's really difficult to judge, but IMO go with 10k packs or save for the 40k.

 

I saved for the 20K pack my first go 'round, and I didn't get much. I have also bought a couple of 10K packs and haven't gotten much there either. I guess if I didn't have bad luck I would have no luck at all. Ha. I tend to get mostly random stuff for character
types I don't use much, so it definitely doesn't make much sense to me either. Going to start saving for the 40K packs to see if that is any better.

 

If these packs were more like ME3 the best strategy there was to build up from the lowest to highest but that was so you didn't blow a high level slot on a low level weapon. For this, I agree that it seems there is more bang for your buck in the 10k vs 20k
pack but the 5k pack does not seem worthwhile so I would agree go either 10k or 40k unless you need consumables then load up on the 1k packs.
