Chapter 9: Engine Room Glitch

I am playing this game for the first time and I am at chapter 9: Dead on Arrival. So I got to the engine room and there is nothing for me to shoot. I know where the power boxes should be and they aren't there. I was wondering if there was a fix for this.
I already tried going around and running up to the singularity core but I just instantly die when I'm close to it. Thanks.

Alarming Number of Freezes.

I have 30 hours into the game and it froze about 3 times. Usually in the loading screen going from room to room or fast traveling. I just make sure to save a lot in case my save gets corrupt. Its a Bethesda game so everyone knows you need to save often
because these large RPG games always have issues. I was hoping this new game engine would help but it really feels like the same engine from Oblviion, and the Fallout games. Looks better but feels the same and seems to have some of the same glitches.

The Evil Within, game freezes and can't enter title screen

Ah the dreaded 'Any Button' glitch, I was hit by this at Chapter 9.

What I did to solve it was I power cycled the console by holding the Xbox Button on the console for 10 seconds followed by unplugging the power cable from the system for a further 10 seconds before plugging it back in. Upon powering the console up again
I found the glitch had been fixed.

Are they there on either side? I never had any glicthes in this game it was flawless all way through all 4 times I played it.

Could it be your disk? try installing it? or uninstalling it.

Another one that was both very challenging and frustrating was beating The Evil Within on Akumu mode. Your character only has 1 hit point, and there are tons of extra traps thrown in (bear traps, mines, caches guarded by groups of Haunted), as well as
stronger enemies showing up much more often and sooner, such as Ruvik clones showing up in Chapter 3 rather than Chapter 9 or so, and having multiple miniboss enemies in small rooms

Hang on a second. I got on a tram in the chapter 14 "disposal services" optional quest.. That tram took me to the chapter 9 supply depot! Check it out!

Yes, I can go back to any chapter, but the optional mission for chapter 9 is not available. The key to open the door isn't there so the mission doesn't trigger.
