Channel Selecting Toggles Full Channel Details Window

DVR: Cox Record 6 (Cisco 9865HDC)

Issue: When selecting a channel through OneGuide (using the Xbox One remote), the channel changes properly and a small Channel Information window appears at the bottom of the screen (this is exactly what should happen). The problem that I am experiencing
has to do with the Channel Information window. This screen should disappear within a couple of seconds, but instead the OneGuide selects the “Full Details” button on this screen, which expands to take up 2/3 of the screen.

The only way I have found to close it out with OneGuide is to reselect the channel, which in effect toggles the steps and cancels out the Full Details window.

Of course, I can use the DVR remote to Exit the window, but that gets away from the efficiencies of using only the Xbox One to control the entertainment.

Cisco 4742HDC not compatible

"0877" worked perfectly with my COX Cisco 4742HDC

I was also having the details window show up on channel changes.

Channel Will Not Change

I'm able to scroll through OneGuide channels, however, when selecting a channel using the 'A' button on the Xbox Controller, it takes me back to the same channel and won't change to the new channel.

I believe this is an issue with your codeset. Either C1877 or C0877 causes the issue, and the other one fixes it.

Can you go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Device control -> Cable/sat box -> enter remote code and see the values there?

This finally fixed my problem!! Switched from C1877 to C0877. No more full details stuck on the screen!

I'm trying to set up 360 as extender. I chose XBox360UniversalMediaRemote and while it sends channel numbers, the power toggle does not work. Should I pick a difference device designation?

To the OP, when you were successfully changing channels via voice, was this with x.y channels or with a workaround to integer channels?

When I use one guide with sky. On my windows Fone. It skips wen I'm trying to select a channel through my sky guide. Eg. If I go up,down or side to side it I can't select the channel I want because it will skip 1 or 2 channels.....
