Changing Xbox Live Gold region

Just asking, if I changing my Xbox Live region, will it cancelled my Xbox Live Gold membership?

If I have xbox live membership and i get a new code for a different region to get a memebership again will i have to wait for my xbox live gold to expire and then change regions to use the new code?

Gold membership codes are region locked and can only be used for accounts that are set as the same region the code is for.

In this particular case, if you've moved to the region you're purchasing the code from you would be able to change your tag and use the code right away.

Currency doesn't transfer over but a gold subscription does.

It won't transfer if it's not a live supported country.

When did you change region & what region did you change it to?

Do you live in the region you've changed your account to?

I cannot change XBOX Live Gold region in next 3 months. This can be done once in 3 months.

did you meet the qualifications ?

An adult account ( this can't be changed till you turn 18 and no you cant change it to force it early)

Gold account and living in an supported region

Japan and China don't qualify

And if you don't live in an Xbox live region you will have issues with the code
