Changing xbox live account email + phone number

Hello I would tell you to see the email where you sent the change of password for your old email. If not download Microsoft Authenticator and connect them to unlock.

Submit a password reset request on this page and you can have the email sent to another email if you answer the questions correctly:

Then from here you can change the email to an email that's NOT Hotmail, Live mail, or Outlook mail:

You can change your phone number for security here:

And you can change your billing phone here:

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand you are trying to change the primary alias of your Microsoft account. If you are trying to use an email ending in
Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, and MSN email accounts, you will not be able to set it up on another Microsoft Account.
