Changing voice chat output in fortnite

I play fortnite with earbuds plugged into my TV and the xbox headset that came with my xbox plugged into my controller. Game audio comes out of my earbuds, but the audio from the strangers i play with comes out the xbox headset. I cant have my earbuds
and the headset on at the same time, so i was wondering if there is a way to have all the audio coming through my earbuds. Ive changed the "party chat output" setting to speakers only, but this didnt solve the problem. Ive looked everywhere and havent been
able to find a fix, so if anybody has one, it would be much appreciated!

I have played around with this feature for a friend and have not had much luck. I was able to fix the issue by having a headset plugged directly into my home audio receiver and putting all of my sound settings to go through my speakers.

Chat mixer is on "reduced sounda bt 50%" party chat output is headset

Change volume by voice is on 3 steps

And the only sound that goes through when im streaming or recording a clip is just my voice thats it

Try setting the voice chat output to both speakers and headset.

It's probably a fortnite issue, the only way to use game chat in fortnite is by going to voice chat in the pause menu and turning it on from there, if that doesn't work you can go to audio settings ingame and disable voice chat then re-enable it. This
has always worked for me but if it doesn't I would report the bug to fortnite.
