changing to family account

Discus and support changing to family account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I need to change from a single account to a family account, but didn't find any options to easily do that. Suggestions?... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by owned1850, Jan 11, 2014.

    I need to change from a single account to a family account, but didn't find any options to easily do that. Suggestions?

    Changing to a Family account

    The family pack option is no longer available. You can create 3 new accounts but for now memberships are separate. Later on, most likely later this year they will roll out a Shared Xbox Live Gold option.

    Changing to a Family account

    Hi guys,

    I want to change from a single account to a family account where I have the 3 extra slots to share with family however I can't work out how to do this?

    Also do the people you give the slots to have to live at the same address and use same IP as me or can I give a slot to my stepson who lives 100km away and one to my brother who lives in New Zealand when the account is based in Australia

    Hello,

    The option to have the Family Gold option has been removed. The only way people can get that is if they where a Family gold member before the change took effect by using the Auto-renewal. Any new members will not be able to get it.

    There isn't an option to change the primary account as stated in the FAQ of the family account.

    In the same position, You should be a part of a family, go into settings, Account, Family, if there is another account in the family other than yours, log in to that account the continue back to family on that account and then change the settings of your
    account through that account
