Changing To Different Live Account/Gamertag

Unfortunately, I am thinking about quitting my gaming days. If so, I was wanting to be able to let my son have access to the content I have bought over the years and consolidate it on to one device. So I have a couple pf questions in regards to the steps
needed to change/migrate to my son’s Live Account/Gamertag and the steps needed to migrate everything to his device and ensure he is able to access it all.

I know about the License Transfer ability. I believe all this does though is migrate or update the licenses of ‘my’ content if I move it to a new device. So I assume I could download my profile to my son’s Xbox, re-download all my content, then perform
a License Transfer. However, I believe this only grants him access to it on his device, but not him the ability to re-download it in the future if needed. Is this correct so far? Also, a License Transfer does not grant access to certain items I bought like
avatar items or DLCs. Would I be able to essentially give him everything I have? Any information or assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Changing Gamertag to different account

Hello,

I have read the help on switching gamertags between Microsoft accounts. It's not very clear.

I have an Xbox one, still have a 360. I have been an xbox and xbox live customer for years. These units are for my grandson.

I am trying to setup the xbox one using my account and a parent gamertag and move his gamertag to a child account in my subscription.

Basically I want the Xbox gold subscription to be associated with my Microsoft account and his gamertag to be associated with a different account.

Right now his gamertag is listed as an adult because it is my account. I do not want any of his game achievements or info to be lost in the switch.

I called support but they couldn't help me.

Maybe this is not possible.
