    Hi everyone, i don't know if it's where i should post, tell me if i'm not. (And forgive my english Changing the email of an account. :) )

    I just bought an Xbox One, and wanting to use my old account (the one i had on 360), i use my actual email, forgetting i had an old one on my old account. This leads me to create a new account... I now have an account named "" on my actual email
    and i cant migrate my old profile and gamertag etc. on it because a new one is already used. I now want to remove the profile or i don't now what to use my old one on my Xbox One.

    Well, i don't know if you're understanding me, but i kinda need some help Changing the email of an account. :D

    (i go to security and account on my 360 and i click on "Change microsoft account", it should change my email adress, doesnt it? But when i enter the new one, with the right password it says: "Do you want to change the microsoft account bounded to your Xbox
    Live profile?" i say yes, then it says: "This microsoft account already has a subscription". Connect with this gamertag or try another account".

    Please, notice i ONLY want to change the email bounded, and use my new one, i want to keep my subscription to Xbox Live Gold (12 months) )

    Please follow the instructions on this link here in order to change the e-mail address associated with your Microsoft
    Account (formally known as your Windows Live ID)

    Make sure to look under "Switch Gamertag to a different Microsoft Account".

    On your console, press the guide buton, go to Settings => Profile => Account security => Change MS account => follow the steps given.

    This is what it comes back to after i changed my password...it still wants to send me a code to the email i cant get into!

    I'm not entirely sure since I've never done it myself, but I don't see why you would lose any progress. It's just changing the email associated with the Gamertag, not starting a new account, so I'm assuming it would keep the same saves in the cloud.

    Hopefully someone else can confirm though.
