Changing the date on Xbox: Will it affect my Live Membership?

First off sorry if this is the wrong forum/subforum.

I want to change my Xbox date to about October 27th, and i was wondering if that will make Xbox think that I only have ~3 months left of Live Membership, assuming I activated a 6 month card 3 months prior. Thanks!

Changing the date of birth on your Microsoft account wont affect your xbox accounts date of birth. The date of birth originally chosen when you created the Xbox Live account is set in stone and cannot be changed.

The date of birth on your Xbox account is permanent. Changing it on account.microsoft.com will have no affect on your Xbox account. The only way around would be to create a new account.

 

Your subscription information would be tied to your account on the Xbox servers, so changing the date on the console will not affect that.
