Changing regions to download early?

Would this be a good idea? Will changing regions on our xbox or xbox live account enable us to download Titanfall and other titles earlier than 3am EST here in North America?

Also, if it would work, how will it affect our other things on our live account?

If you are planning on using Gamepass you can change your console region to a region where the game is already unlocked and download/play it now. It’s easier to use the online store, set for a region the game is already out in, and then push the download to your console.

If the game is region blocked, changing your region still won't allow you to download the game.

Don't quote me but based on your ISP I'm sure the xbox is smart enough to tell what time zone your in

 

It would be unwise to
change your region if you have not in fact changed regions. It will cause more headaches than it is worth and you would not be able to change it back for 90 days. Please just wait for TF to come to your region.

 

^^Does it break a ToS or anything? Im not going to do it, but these FPS communities think of the craziest things.

 

Digital games on the Xbox One are region locked, so don't bother.

 

Nothing specifically Uneasy. The risks of changing without actually needing to should be enough to deter someone hopefully.

 

people have swapped from US to UK easy and straight away.not worth the hassle tho
