Changing Network Connection

We have wireless in this house and have never had a wired connection. All of a sudden we have no connection to go online with Xbox One and when we check the network it says we are wired and we must unplug the wire. What? I can't try to change to wireless
because it won't let me. I have nothing to unplug.

Please help, I am desperate. My grandson wants to play since he's here visiting. Thanks in advance.

Intermittent connectivity issues only while using Plex

do the Ethernet connection so can narrow it down to a wireless problem or not....changing nat suggest its in your network though ...

360 Slim Doesn't See Network

My Xbox360 Slim wont see my wireless network. Every other device in my house connects to the network flawlessly. My Xbox occasionally sees my neighbours network. To be clear, it's not that my Xbox won't connect to the network, it usually claims there are no networks to connect to. Any help?

if you haven't already, try power cycle your console.

If you have an Ethernet cable, try plug this cable into the Ethernet port on your console and terminate the other end of the cable to your gateway or computer

you need to change the name of one of the networks or it will preferentially connect to the 2.4 network

Changed the xbox's network ip address in my home network...manually..then it worked for an hour... After lost the live connection had to change it back to automatic.. Crazy..

I"m really sorry about the situation you are in with your console's network connection.

Please try changing the network cable you are using to set up the wired connection. The other option would be to use a wireless connection and see if you can connect with your network connection with that setup.

It would also be best to try changing the network frequency to see if that sorts it out. You can change it by 2.4 Ghz to 5 Ghz or vice-versa on your router settings.
