changing my master account

My son has an xbox one

I have a master account and 2 child accounts

My master account is the one I use to buy games and control security etc.

He's moving out so I'd like to remove any reference to me from the xbox one and create a new account that makes no reference to myself but can still be used as a master account

Basically, remove my credit card and e-mail details

How do I remove the master account and create a new account which can act as a parental account?

If I do remove myself from the xbox will it also remove any games?

I don't want it to remove anything as they're his games that have been paid for through my account

Password recovery question- 2 live accounts on one email adress

Hello everybody,

i have some kind of problem. i got a new xbox today cause my whole old xbox broke down. now, i cannot remember the old password for my master account.. password recovery letting me perfectly recover, reactivating my old second account. but my master account
is still lost and i cannot find an option to let me choose what account i want to recover.

problem is

- having 2 accounts on one email

- password recovery reactivates an old account

- master account password is still lost

question

- can i choose what account to recover

- can i delete my old account and leave my master untouched so i could recover my master password

Hi there. Best that I could advice right now is to remove the child account from the family on this link below.

account.microsoft.com/family

After removing it, create a brand new Parent account and add the child account on it.

This should resolve your issue.
