Changing my gamertag without paying because of error

Hi - I create myself an account about 4 months back - I created myself a gamertag but when I was done it changed it to something weird so I changed it to - now my problem is I want to change my gamertag again but I can't because the website gave
m a weird gamertag and I had to change so technically I never got that one chance to be able to change my gamertag

Gamer tag changed randomly

My gamertag changed without me changing it and now I can’t change it back to what it was without paying $10.

Changing the Gamertag

I try to change my gamertag for the first time and it won't let me do it without paying, but the first gamertag change is supposed to be free. I think there is an error with my account.

I don't see any error from the service here so if you want to change your gtag again you have to pay a fee.

Are you trying to return tol an old gamertag? Because i not sure its possible without paying to change it back....

My xbox gamertag had changed without my authentication and now I have to pay to change it back.

I would like to revert all the unauthorized changes to my account.

If the change is not on your billing tab chances are enforcement changed it for you because of reports

Forced gamertag changes are not given because of what happens in the game. Gamertag changes are given because the gamertag violates the code of conduct. The enforcement team does not issue changes without investigating your account first. You can submit
a case review at http://enforcement.xbox.com but otherwise you will either need to keep this gamertag or pay to change it to something else.

Thank you for your post .I understand you are experiencing an issue with you with a recent gamertag change. If you selected a gamertag but accidentally accepted the changes without verifying your change, you must pay the gamertag change fee to correct it.
Unfortunately, there is no way to edit a gamertag without paying for a change.
