Changing my gamertag to a more anonymous one

Hi,

My gamertag currently is pretty much my real name and I've only recently started playing online multiplayer games. I'm realizing that I need to change it to a more anonymous one to protect my privacy. When changing it on my xbox one, even though I've
never changed my gamer tag, I still need to pay to change it.

I'd like to be able to change it once for free to protect my privacy.

Please help me achieve that this one time.

@Zuumma Were you ever in KoG a couple years back? Just wondering because I had a friend with that gamertag a while back.

 

actually you did Change your Name, every System created Name consist out of 2 words + a random number.

 

He never said he used the system generated one.

Unfortunately you have 30 days to change the Gamertag. After that you will have to pay the 9.99 to change it.

 

Free gamertag changes aren't given aside from creating a brand new account and using the free one within 30 days. If you'd like to change your gamertag, you'll need to pay the small fee to do so.
