Changing my gamer tag that i paid 9.99 for

For apparently no reason, Xbox enforcement arbitraly changed my gamer tag
[Mod Removed] to radiantpup. I [Mod Removed] that since they gladly accepted my 10 bucks to change the name of a service i already pay for they would give me a credit in that regard. I don't understand why my name was changed. My future
purchases will be from sony

I paid $9.99 for a gamer tag change but that tag was force changed to one of those weird random gamer tags with six numbers that provokes anger in everyone. Okay, so my gaming community peers arbitrarily rule my choice for gamer tag violates xbox live's
"Code of Conduct" and maybe it does. So, Don't allow the gamer tag. Fine. But, give me back my old gamer tag that I paid $9.99 for and have had for several years and refund my $9.99 payment for the gamer tag I am not allowed to use. NO? You wish you could

Why did you guys ban my console from xbox live? I just ordered the new Zombie Maps and paid $55.00 and I get banned? And just bought a game tag for $9.99. I don't understand what's going on. I didn't do anything else and I need an explanation.

 

No matter whether you paid for your gamertag or not, if your gamertag violates the code of conduct, you are given a forced name change and will have to pay to change it to something else. This is per the code of conduct you agreed to. For an official answer
as to why it was changed, you would need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com but it would be for the second word in your gamertag.

 

So at some point, an Xbox enforcement ______ considers the sm in your tag to stand for S and M, in your opinion its fine for that _____ to assume their very own opinion and change your tag......... That's what this really comes down to right? Some holier
then thou self righteous politically correct ____. If a conglomerate like Microsoft is going to charge to change your username then its a conflict of interest for them to allow me to pay for something and take it away, but still offer to sell it back to me.
This demonstrates a consistency with a huge problem in the US, politically correctness. Its situations like this that our competetitors are beating us at (Sony and China).

Look at the context of how I made my tag [Mod Removed] I was implying that its an after thought to win in multiplayer..

 

I know a player who had his gamertag changed for sounding like a word which isn’t offensive. On the other hand, there is a player (I remember because he is always cheating) who has a swear word in his gamertag which is deemed ok.

There do seem to be different rules for different people.

 

@ RadiantPup,the four letter word beginning with T in your gamertag is why you received a forced name change.

It is an offensive word.

The rules are global & have nothing to do with U.S. political correctness,they are the same for everyone no matter what country you live in.

 

I saw this Thread earlier but had no idea why the OP's GT was forced changed due to Policy Violation. After a quick Google just now from Daft's Reply in regards to the second part of his GT I can see why.

I do find it a little odd though, that MS Policy requires Urban Dictionary to define a word. The word in itself used by the OP literally was simply a l33t spelled version of "thought" or at best a poor misspelled version of the word. I'm a little on the OP's
side with this one. That is a little extreme in this case imo.
