Changing my E-mail

Well I made this account while ago, but I've never had to worry about the email untill recently. The E-mail was already taken, and as such I can not get on it. I've never had to verify it or had any need to get on it, but I would like to change my E-mail.
I've looked all over (never really been to the xbox.com site), but I've still been able to turn up short on how to change the E-mail my xbox account is using. Is there an easy way to solve this issue? I would really love some help on the matter.

My xbox one account uses and old e-mail I am having trouble changing the e-mail to one I currently use

 

Changing e-mail.

You can ring support and request a P.I. Removal for your new account but this is an escelated process and can take time. The easy and quick way is to recover this account (your new one) on the console and actually make a new hotmail account from the P.c.
or laptop. This will be a dummy e-mail e.g. *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** then you Change this dummy E-mail with the one for your new gamertag which will free the E-mail on there now and the its a simple swap with your main Gamertags old E-mail and the one you have freed from
This gamertag. Once this is done Delete this Gamertag from the console and never look back...
