    Changing my Childs Email Address


    My 12 year old son cannot log into his account because he forgot his password.

    He cannot log into his email address because he forgot his password there too.

    So I want to change his email address entirely in XBox one. How do i do it?

    Advice on creating sub-account for child

    Yes, my kids already had email addresses but you have to put yours in to confirm the settings.

    If your kid knows an old password for the email that can work or if your kid linked a phone number that can also get you to a page to change your password for the email and if your kid was already signed in on the xbox cant you fined the email on the xbox

    Off the top of my head, I would have to say it is because you set that email address for the management account for the child account, so if you change the child management account to a different one temp. till you change the primary account email, it should
    let you change the email address then when that is complete you can reset it as the management account again.

    When the Xbox asks for the email address connected to the child account put in the parents email address/password instead and it will work (parents email address being the one used to verify the child's account when it was first created or to accept changes
    to the child account), I think this only happens when the parent email address is not the same as the primary account holders email address. I have just had this problem tonight. Xbox support told me of this and it worked first time
