Changing my child's email account

Thank you is it possible to change the email address associated with the account? For example- the account is with my email address. Could i change it to my childs email address? Then create another account with my email address and add his account
to the family?

Off the top of my head, I would have to say it is because you set that email address for the management account for the child account, so if you change the child management account to a different one temp. till you change the primary account email, it should
let you change the email address then when that is complete you can reset it as the management account again.

Do you have no access to the account whatsoever? Can you not still use the old email account to log in, you shouldn't need to actually access the emails, just us the email address to log in.

If this doesn't work, you may have to get in touch with support themselves over this. They'll need to get involved to stop potential strangers from changing email's linked to accounts.

Can I change the email on the overall Microsoft account (that the Xbox profile is linked to) to my child's email, and then setup a new Microsoft account with my original email so I can then just use my Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) subscription from that?

My issue is I need to keep my Office subscription with my email address - - which is also the address of the Microsoft account overall. And my email / Microsoft account is linked to the Xbox profile used by my child.
