    Changing my Alias


    I have an account that has been active for years. I just realized that, while my email goes to an account that I use, my actual alias is an email account that has not been active for three years. In addition, this alias was never verified.

    How do I change an unverified alias to my actual email account?

    Being prompted for Microsoft account password to sign in every time.

    I had the same issue after changing my Microsoft alias. T Ghost's solution worked for me as well.

    Im having problems changing my email address associated with my xbox live profile.

    i spoke to someone last week about deleting and changing aliases on the microsoft account linked to my xbox live account.

    I want to add an alias to my account but I cannot because I have a this warning: "For security reasons, you need to verify your primary alias before you can add another alias." How can I add an alias if I cannot verify my primary address? I no longer have
    access to my primary email address as it no longer exists.

    this form to help recover your account. Be sure to fill it out as much as possible, if there is information you're unsure of try to provide your best answer.

    I tried this exact method, however when attempting to change the primary alias, no matter how many times I click "make primary" it would not change the primary alias. It is now saying I've changed my primary alias too many times this week even though it
