    Changing my accounts gamertag


    Hey whats up i am wondering what is the email to contact for support on a gamertag that i would like to change mine to, i am not going to post it here but i can not find anyone who has it and when i go to change my gamertag the system says it is already
    taken. i am just looking for the email to contact support to have them look it up and see if i can claim it, if it is used but on an inactive account of course.

    Xbox one followers privacy/spam concerns. END IT

    Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.

    If a gtag is claimed (be it in an active account or not) you can't get that gtag. Support will give you the same answer and to contact them follow the link here: Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Just because you cant find the exact.combination doesnt mean the gamertag isnt taken

    Since any given gamertag can have millions of combinations your best bet is to change characters

    GamerTag is the sane as gamertag or Gamer Tag or Gam ertag you will just have to be more creative

    When I changed my gamertag my ea that was says it is still linked to my old gamertag.

    I just changed my gamertag and the EA account says I still have it linked to my old gamertag. I haven't changed my Microsoft account at all only my gamertag. I can't get it back since to change your gamertag it has to be under 12 characters and my old gamertag is 14 characters.
